This year of 2012, Muhammadiyah early day had give announcement that the beginning of fasting fall on July 20 based on the counting (hisabiyah) method that at that time first Ramadan right to come, while Nahdlatul Ulama itself still waiting clarity whether the crescent appear or not in July 20, it is based on the literary revelation (hadits) which was said "Do fasting after seeing the appearance of crescent, and do break fast if you see it.
